The Rotary Club of Hillcrest Sunrise Foundation is initiating a Community Improvement Grants Program in 2017.  All non-profit, 501(c) (3) or other tax exempt organizations in the Hillcrest area are eligible to apply.

Projects should focus on initiatives that will benefit and enhance the Hillcrest communities.  The Hillcrest Rotary Club Foundation favors programs and projects that serve and support: youth, seniors, homeless families and individuals, and people with disabilities and mental illnesses.  Support for a wide range of programs and services through the Community Grants Program will be considered, but priority will be given to programs and projects directed toward human needs (food, healthcare, and housing), education (structured scholastic programs), youth recreation/camperships and environment. Funding preferences will be given to those projects containing a service component that includes Rotary members’ involvement.

It is expected that approximately $5,000-$10,000 in community grants during the next year.   Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be awarded.
