Hillcrest Rotary-Sunrise welcomed three new additions to its club.
 
Mike Skoda is in charge of marketing at Skoda construction which builds new homes, updates current facilities, or restores structures after floods, fires or other insurance related damage.  He graduated from Ohio University with a double major in Marketing and Management with Strategic Leadership.
 
Melissa Thompson is currently the Director of Pupil Services for the South Euclid Lyndhurst School System.  Melissa provides leadership in the delivery of support services and educational programs of the highest standards in the areas of gifted, English Language Learners, counseling and social work services, health services, and attendance services. Melissa is also responsible to provide guidance and supervision in the areas of early entrance testing, kindergarten screening, home instruction, home schooling, disciplinary hearings, 504 Plans and compliance, positive behavior supports, and homeless families. She also coordinates services for students in alternative placements including Non-Public, Jon Peterson Scholarships, and Autism Scholarships. 
 
Deacon Joseph Bourgeous is a Deacon at St. Paschal Baylon Church in Highland Heights where he chairs both the Clown Ministry and the Helping Hand Ministry.  He initiated a project in conjunction with the Highland Heights Community Garden to grow produce and deliver it to the homeless in the Cleveland area. As a member of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, he became the first permanent Deacon in the United States in 1978
